There is no shortage of RPGs set within something similar to medieval times. From series like The Witcher, The Elder Scrolls, Dragon Age and Baldur's Gate, each one brings its take on living in those old days, but they all go down the fantasy route...

En conclusión, Kingdom Come: Deliverance es un título difícil y quizá muchos que suelen preferir sistemas gratificantes y sencillos tardarán en disfrutar la experiencia… pero cuando todos los engranes del sistema hacen clic es cuando en verdad se llegan a disfrutar todas las excentricidades y decisiones de diseño poco ortodoxas para el estándar mainstream actual.

Kingdom: Come Deliverance is a good RPG that ignores fantasy for a more realistic edge. That does make it wonderfully quaint, but also means it can be a little dull, too.

There’s a shining suit of mail underneath Kingdom Come: Deliverance’s authentically medieval grime. Strong characters and storytelling, one of my favorite first-person melee combat systems ever, and special attention given to building moment-to-moment immersion come together as a mighty alloy that ranks among the most unique, memorable RPGs I’ve played in years.

Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy? Thankfully, Kingdom Come: Deliverance is not a landslide, a mix of game and reality. It may not capture the appeal of the overall mainstream, but that’s okay. Anyone willing to take a dive into the niche waters of the gaming world, and not afraid of games being unforgiving, should definitely check this out. I love this game. Open your eyes, give this game a try and see.
